Kurtis here (founder of Lambertones). Over the years I've been asked a few dozen times what my favorite Lambertones pickup set that we make is. Every time I've given the same answer, even though I enjoy all of them for their own legitimate reasons... but the Triple Shot set 🫠 its just the best.

 What started as a one-off set for an artist friend based in Portland, OR turned into some of my favorite tones on the planet. 

I intentionally did not want to make a Stratocaster© pickup set because there are dozens of replacement Strat pickup sets available on the market for every situation you can imagine. But when a friend calls, you answer. He wanted a punchier and modern version of John Mayer's favorite 1964 Fender Stratocaster© and the Triple Shot set is what we came up with!

Folks love these for many reasons, but here are a few standout ones that I find particularly accurate:

1. Immersive Clarity: Triple Shot players consistently mention the clarity and definition these pickups provide. They appreciate how each note stands out, even when playing complex chords or picking fast solos. This clarity is particularly valued by players who perform in multiple musical genre's and amplifaction types.
   
   
2. Dynamic Response: The Triple Shot pickups are very dynamic. You can achieve subtle nuances in how your notes come through, from gentle fingerpicking to an aggressive dig into the strings, the authentic sag is there without losing the integrity of the note.
   
   
3. Lose the Brittle: Using unique magnets, wire types, and winding tensions allows the Triple Shots to perform beautifully in every single position. A custom baseplate on the bridge tightens the low-end and reduces the brittle high end giving you a saturation that usually isn't present in a Strat bridge pickup.
   
   
4. Five Distinct Tones: One of the coolest things we hear is that people use their middle position again, what!? The throwaway middle pickup is NOT just for the quack in positions 2/4, it's got its own character and sounds incredible.
