Big Changes for the Lamber'Tron in 2025

The Lamber'Tron LT-1 just got legs.

Starting February 1st, 2025, all Lamber'Tron LT-1 bridge pickups will feature a newly improved baseplate.

Click the following LINK to learn more about the key differences between our LT-1 and LT-2 models.

The Lamber'Tron has been on a journey! A complete redesign of the classic Filter'Tron© to improve on one of the most famous designs ever created. But we keep learning even beyond the product release.

After gathering feedback on installation success since the release of the Lamber'Tron - we found a few models that brought concern to pickup height optimization. Specifically the Gretsch 5410, 5420, and larger-style hollow-body models using the LT-1 (pickup ring mounted) style Trons.

The original LT-1 baseplate did now allow for enough height adjustment for the bridge Lamber'Tron before bottoming out on the mounting ring. In most cases, removing the tension springs brought a few more millimeters of height, but that's not a great long-term solution and for a premium product there had to be an update and improvement.

The new bridge LT-1 baseplate allows for an additional 7mm of travel, which will enable the installer to bring the pickup all the way to the bottom of the strings to dial in their desired pickup height to balance amplitude output across bridge/neck pups, but also the desired EQ curve.

Here at Lambertones Pickups we are committed to the innovation of our product line, so you can be confident that the absolute best tone is in your hands. If you purchased an LT-1 set or individual bridge pickup from us before December 15th, 2024, and have a pickup height concern, please follow the link HERE to submit a repair form. We will work with you to get the optimized installation height for your guitar.
