Developing the ultimate P90 for folks that hate P90's

In collaboration with David Ryan Harris (solo artist and touring with John Mayer), the Ristretto was born. The goal was to build a P90 for David, who doesn't like traditional P90s. The result was so strong that a one-off prototype project turned into one of our most popular models, ever.

P90's a powerful! In a lot of cases, too powerful. They end up being snarly, over-compressed, and so dark that you sacrifice all note separation. 

Not with the Ristretto set. These were designed with clarity and punch in mind—think of a HUGE-sounding Strat neck pickup, and you'll start to see where these can take your tone. Some characteristics of the Ristrettos are below:

   “Received my Ristetto’s and immediately they went into my Berly Jazzmaster guitar. Talk about tone delight! They sound amazing. Very articulate and well balanced.
